How do I search for vendors?

You can search for vendors by selecting Vendors and Search. You can enter keywords such as: organization name, organization number, or contact; advanced filters include: location, categories, status, and more.

Is the Estimated Contract Value visible to vendors?

No, the Estimated Contract Value isn’t visible to vendors.

Is the Estimated Contract Value mandatory?

The Estimated Contract Value is only mandatory if it is accompanied by a red asterisk. It is only available to buyers; it will not be shown to suppliers.

How do I create a vendor list?

Here are the steps to create a vendor list:

1. Click Vendors from the top of the screen

2. Select Vendors Lists

3. Click on +Add Vendors List in the upper-right corner

4. Name the new vendor list and click Add Vendors List

5. Select Actions to Search for and Add Vendors

6. Use the “Keywords” textbox to search for vendors using the organization name or organization number

7. Click Search then select the desired vendors by checking the checkbox

8. Scroll down and click Add Vendors

9. Click Actions at the top right then Activate to activate the vendors list

How do I remove a vendor from a vendor list?

1. Click Vendors from the top of the screen

2. Select Vendors Lists

3. Click the three dots next to the vendor you wish to remove

4. Click Remove

Where can I see My Required Actions?

You can see and access your required actions on the main page when logged in to your account. The “My Required Actions” tab is next to the “All Required Actions” tab.

How can I add an internal note to my solicitation?

You can add an internal note to your solicitation by clicking Notes at the top right. These notes are not visible to vendors.

What is a reciprocal link?

The reciprocal link is a unique URL for each Buyer Landing Page on BidNet Direct.

Can the reciprocal link be modified?

No, the reciprocal link cannot be changed or modified.

Where can I find the reciprocal link?

Here are the steps to find the reciprocal link for your organization:

1. Click the person icon in the upper-right corner.

2. Click My Organization.

3. The link is under Portal Personalized Site in the Organization Profile section.

How can a non-member search for solicitations?

Non-members can search for solicitations by going to bidnetdirect.com and entering keywords in the search bar. They can also search by selecting any of the displayed categories under Popular Searches.

What are the modules available on BidNet Direct?

Some of the bidnet direct modules include Bid Evaluation, Vendor Performance, Qualifications, etc.

How do I prevent from timing out?

Your session will automatically time out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
